North Shore Advances Promising Drill Target Generation at Falcon Uranium Project – A Skyharbour Initiative!

North Shore Gold Corp., a partner of Skyharbour Resources Ltd. has strengthened its exploration and development activities at the Falcon Uranium Project. This project, strategically located in the western Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan, Canada has been the center of significant exploration efforts for its significant uranium deposits – a key element in the production of nuclear energy.

North Shore has continued its drill target generation at the project to ascertain the presence of uranium ore bodies. The company’s exploration tools, such as the latest drill rigs coupled with advanced geological interpretation techniques have bolstered their ability to assess the potential value of the project.

In an update from Skyharbour, their partner North Shore, reportedly processed and analyzed geophysical data from a comprehensive 2020 airborne versatile time domain electromagnetic (VTEM) and magnetic survey. This survey has been beneficial in helping determine natural resources within the project area by identifying geological structures suitable for hosting uranium deposit.

The processed data from the survey have shown promising results, illuminating various conductive trends transgressing the area of interest. These regions are estimated to be within basement lithologies – the prime targets for high-grade, unconformity-type uranium deposits. The trend has identified linear anomalies associated with regional magnetic lineaments, proving a conductive path similar to the models of several structures hosting uranium in the basin.

Closely following this, North Shore made efforts to advance this exploration to the next level by undertaking a systematic radon survey across the area. The radon survey has been proven as a highly effective method for quickly assessing uranium potential at shallow depth, given the fact that radon gas is a direct decay product of uranium.

The assay results from the radon survey further complemented the previous VTEM and magnetic survey, suggesting the possibility of multiple uranium targets across the project location. North Shore also further plans to complete a summer field program in 2021 to refine and finalize suitable drill targets. This program includes comprehensive lake sediment sampling, geological mapping, and prospecting.

Skyharbour stands to benefit from this successful partnership by having its partner North Shore fund the exploration program. With North Shore’s continued drill target generation at the Falcon Uranium Project, the potential for the discovery and development of uranium ore bodies is promising. Skyharbour’s own expertise in the uranium exploration and development industry, combined with North Shore’s exploration progress, sets up a significant opportunity for substantial advancements at the Falcon Uranium Project.

In synthesis, North Shore’s ongoing drill target generation activities have proven robust. The systematic approach of utilizing state-of-the-art airborne surveys, radon sampling, and upcoming field programs to identify and refine drill targets has set the stage for promising outcomes. The partnership between North Shore and Skyharbour has proven beneficial in the generation of prospective drilling targets, potentially paving the way for significant uranium findings in the Falcon Uranium Project. As we move forward, enthusiasts and stakeholders within the nuclear energy sector will be watching keenly as events unfold in the exploration and potential development of this uranium-rich project.
